GoErie.com Interview |

WWE Champ Sheamus is a gray-area guy
During an interview last week, Sheamus predicted he’d win the WWE’s Fatal 4-Way competition in New York and arrive for Friday’s Raw event in Erie as the reigning WWE champ.
Dang if it didn’t happen.
Sheamus pinned John Cena on Sunday to earn his second WWE title in less than a year’s time. Of course, that happened sneakily while NXT rookies stormed the stage and put out Edge, who had just put out Randy Orton.
Now Sheamus and Edge will team up against Cena and Orton in a Steel Cage Tag Team match on Friday in Erie.
“That’s going to be special, with all three of them looking at me as the WWE champion. I am that confident,” said Sheamus three days before the 4-Way.
Sheamus made his WWE debut on June 30, 2009, then shocked Cena in December to become the first Irish-born WWE champ. The speed with which he shot from nowhere to superstar status has rubbed some people the wrong way.
Ask Sheamus if he cares.

John Cena Talks About Sheamus |
In a recent interview with Fanhouse.com, WWE Champion John Cena gave strong endorsements to Sheamus. Here’s what The Champ had to say.
“As much as I hate to say it, what Sheamus has accomplished in six months is something I haven’t seen since … man, since Steve Austin became “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. I mean, it took me years to even get my first shot at the WWE Championship and he’s already a former WWE Champion with a chance at number two, and it’s all been virtually in a six-month period of time.”

3 Count: Fatal 4-Way Edition |
Whose obsession will lead them to the WWE Title?
► Randy Orton, Edge and Sheamus all have a similiar advantage over WWE Champion John Cena – each Superstar has defeated The Champ for the WWE Title at some point in their careers. Adding to Cena’s mounting pressure is the fact that in a Fatal 4-Way Match, the champion himself does not have to be pinned or submit to lose the title.
► Apart from his quest to reclaim the WWE Title, Edge’s rivalry with The Viper has turned into something of an obsession. Since Orton injured his shoulder against Edge at Over the Limit, The Ultimate Opportunist has targeted Orton’s injury in an effort t completely incapacitate him.
► All four men in the WWE Championship Match may have to keep watch for an ambush from the Season one NXT Rookies. Giving Raw GM Bret Hart until Fatal 4-Way to grant them contracts, the NXT group may be out to make another statement, once again targeting Cena and other Raw Superstars.
Prediction: Edge’s obsession with The Viper may hinder his ability to focus on the grand prize and Cena will be on the lookout for an NXT attack. Sheamus will seize the chance to once again shock the world by defeating three of WWE’s top Superstars, winning his second WWE Championship
