Josh Mathews brings out Sheamus. Josh asks Sheamus about his match in three weeks, but Sheamus takes the mic. He says that it is a celebration tonight, except for one person, Triple H. He isn’t here because of Sheamus and Triple H is never coming back. Sheamus says that is why he is being punished by having to defend his title against five people. Sheamus wants to know how this is fair. He calls everyone a bunch of Plastic Paddys. He says that he is the only true Irish man. In addition to the match at the pay per view, he has to team with four of his opponents at the pay per view. One of his partners is Randy Orton, the man who tried to end his career. Sheamus says that this is discrimination.

Edge’s music plays and he comes out. He says that Sheamus is giving him a headache. Edge says that since he debuted on Episode 265, he has been thrown into the Long Island Sound, had weddings broken up, had deranged ex-employees come through the crowd and attack him, and hit him with chairs. For everything that has happened to him, he has thrown back three times as many. Edge says that he has won 29 titles. He has won the Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, and Money in the Bank. Edge says that he will win the Six Pack Challenge. He tells Sheamus that he can go back to the lab with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.

SHEAMUS, JOHN CENA, RANDY ORTON, EDGE & CHRIS JERICHO vs. THE NEXUS

Jericho and Cena have some words as Jericho tells John that he is starting. He will face Michael Tarver. They circle around the ring and then they lock up in the 900th main event on Raw. Jericho decides to leave the ring and he thinks about going back into the ring, but he walks to the back and gets eliminated.

When Raw rolls into Beantown to celebrate the show’s 900th episode, WWE Champion Sheamus, John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge & Chris Jericho will come together to take on The Nexus in a 5-on-5 Tag Team Elimination Match.

Sheamus dropped by at the 100.7 WZLX Studio to join K & M to talk about his upcoming Steel Cage match against John Cena and Randy Orton. He also joined 98.5 The Sports Hub later on to promote the Event as well. 10 photos of both appearances have been added to the gallery, so head over to check them out!

The Celtic Warrior is not happy about having to defend his WWE Championship against five Superstars at Night of Champions, but he did destroy Zack Ryder on Monday night.

Sheamus did an Interview with Canadian Mike from Fox Sports Radio on the Red Carpet at the 2010 SummerSlam Kickoff Party. He talks about getting into the Business, U2 Singer Bono, WWE Fans, his ultimate Survivor Series team and more. Check the video out now, it’s a nice treat!

WWE Raw Tour pits The Viper against Sheamus in revenge bout

Fresh off a disappointing end to his recent bout with Sheamus in Los Angeles, you can expect “The Viper,” Randy Orton, to be even more determined to stick his fangs into the reigning World Wrestling Entertainment champion.

And he very well may do so, in a special one-night-only Raw World Tour stop 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, in the Oceanfront Arena, Wildwoods Convention Center.

When the two met in Los Angeles, Sheamus ended up getting disqualified for attacking a match official with a metal chair. But that didn’t stop the bitter rivals from punishing each other pretty badly – the Viper knocked Sheamus out after the match.

Bent on revenge, Sheamus, a pale-skinned, fiery red-headed Irishman, says Orton might as well not even show up to Wildwood.

He’ll be using signature moves – the “crucifix bomb” and “Irish curse” among them – to keep Orton from stealing the championship.

“I’ll probably get to use ‘em all on Orton, poor fella,” Sheamus says in a recent telephone interview from Florida, his current home. “He’ll be lying in a bucket of ice afterward.”

WWE’s Wildwood fans are getting a real treat, Sheamus says, because this is a lumberjack event, meaning the ring will be surrounded by WWE Superstars who will throw competitors back into the ring if they end up outside of it, often getting in a few choice punches and kicks along the way.

Also on the agenda for the night’s action: John Cena and Chris Jericho vs. The Nexus in a Raw Tag Team Match; plus all the favorite superstars, including The Miz, Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, Eve, Alicia Fox, John Morrison, The Hart Dynasty, William Regal and more.

Sheamus might hail from Dublin, but he ain’t no leprechaun, to be sure. Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 272 pounds, he has come to dominate the WWE after making his debut a little over a year ago.

In a meteoric rise, he gained the championship by defeating Cena, one of WWE’s superstars.

“It’s been brilliant!” Sheamus says of his success.

“It was a childhood dream of mine. ‘Course, I’m not very popular for doing that. Gingers aren’t very popular, anyway. It’s all jealousy.”

Sheamus says he’s been to Wildwood before, with friends for Irish festivities, and enjoys its carefree atmosphere. But he’ll be all business in the ring, he promises, and urges WWE fans to come check out the matches.

“There’s nothing like seeing it live up close to all the superstars and booing and cheering,” Sheamus says. “It’s off the chart. You’ll have a great time.”

All except Orton, that is.

“There’s never been a WWE superstar like me. I’m vicious. I’m aggressive,” Sheamus says.

“I want to put that ol’ guy out to pasture once and for all.”

WWE champion Sheamus opens the show. He says that one thing that he learned about Americans is that their children are spoiled brats. They are annoying and selfish and they complain until they get their way. Sheamus goes to the front row and he wants to know what they did to deserve such good seats. He calls the kids disgraces. He says that there is a bigger spoiled child here in the WWE and his name is Randy Orton. Since Orton couldn’t win the title at SummerSlam, he attacked him the next night on Raw. He talks about how he got hit with a chair while the fans were chanting ‘RKO’. Sheamus reminds us that he is the WWE Champion, not Randy Orton. Sheamus says that he hasn’t been on the same page as the General Manager, but with Night of Champions coming up, he does not want the spoiled child to be rewarded. He says that Orton should be punished or locked up in prison. He says that Orton should not get another title match.

New email from the GM. He says that he has no problem with Sheamus. He has been able to retain his title and he says that Sheamus should be rewarded. Tonight, he is going to do something unprecedented. The GM asks to have a throne brought out. He says that Sheamus will be the one to decide his next challenger. Sheamus will be able to watch and observe the matches to determine who his opponent will be for Night of Champions. Sheamus says that justice has finally been done in the WWE and he thanks the General Manager. Cole says that the first match is taking place now.
