Sheamus vs. Kofi Kingston
Raw’s United States Champion, Sheamus, walks down the ring as his music plays throughout the arena. He has the title around his waist. After he is in the ring, the Intercontinental Champion, Kofi Kingston, comes out with the title around his shoulder. The crowd cheers and claps as he is the fan favorite for this match, no doubt!
The bell rings and they quickly lock-up. Sheamus takes Kofi down first and work on his arm. He does an arm lock and an arm bar, but Kofi twists out of it. He goes to whip Sheamus, but Sheamus reverses it. Kofi slides out of the corner, jumps on Sheamus, who is in the corner, and does some punches to the head, but he drops Kofi down, face first, onto the turnbuckle. Sheamus is back on top as he goes for a pin, but gets a two. He then does a neckbreaker, another cover, but only a two! He now works on the back and neck of Kofi. The crowd is cheering Kofi on and he gets to his feet. He gets out of the head lock, runs into the ropes, but Sheamus turns sideways and does a huge elbow to Kofi and it knocks him down instantly. He continues to work on Kofi’s neck. He goes for a neckbreaker, but Kofi falls down and does a school boy. It’s only a two. Kofi now gets on the top rope, flies and does a great cross body, but Sheamus rolls through and has him up on his shoulder. Kofi slides out and now punches Sheamus in the head and chest. He rus into the ropes, goes behind Sheamus and does a side russian leg sweep. Kofi is on fire now as he hits the “Boom, Boom” leg drop. Kofi gets in the corner and wants to finish the match, but Sheamus rolls to the apron. Kofi goes after him, but Sheamus chokes him on the ropes. Sheamus gets back in, but Kofi hits the S.O.S and covers, but he grabs the ropes.
Sheamus goes outside, but Kofi jumps on the steps, and goes right on Sheamus. Sheamus crawls over the steps as Kofi goes after him, but Sheamus kicks the steps and it hits right in the knee of Kofi. He brings Kofi it and hits his famous pump kick and he gets the win!
Winner: Sheamus
A bloody mouth Sheamus holds up his title as he is victorious. All three announcer’s are shown and they take a look back two weeks ago when Kane attacked the Corre members to save Big Show, but attacks Show at the end. Then they show last week as Big Show helps Kane, but attacks Kane at the end.
