WWE World Hvt. champion Randy Orton beat Christian and Sheamus in a three-way match to retain the World Hvt. Title. Sheamus attacked both and was dumped to the floor. Orton took control of Christian, who then dumped Randy outside the ring. All three were on the outside, then Sheamus and Orton re-entered and Orton stomped Sheamus down. All three men rotated in and out in typical three-way match fashion. Orton landed a spike DDT on Sheamus, but an RKO was blocked. More nearfalls as the crowd heat built.

Orton eventually with the RKO on Sheamus to pin him. Solid main event given the right amount of time for the three-way to do its thing effectively. The crowd popped after the finish and Orton posed on the turnbuckles. Christian and Orton then shook hands to send the crowd home happy.

Christian beat Sheamus with a pinfall following the Killswitch.

Christian heads out to the ring as soon as the video is over. He opens his speech by discussing the controversial decision of Teddy Long to put the title on the line last week. He says he understands Long’s decision because he has to put on an entertaining show. He goes on to congratulate Randy Orton on winning the title and says he’s looking forward to their rematch in 2 weeks at Over the Limit. Christian then says that he learned something during last week’s match – a 100% and prepared Christian CAN beat Randy Orton, since he came so close to beating him last week. Sheamus interrupts Christian, challenging him to a match. Mark Henry then comes out and interrupts both of them, also challenging Christian to a match. The two then decide that they could team up and face Christian in a handicap match. Christian obviously doesn’t like this idea and tries to get the drop on the two, but he is quickly taken down by the numbers game. Orton rushes out for the save, taking out Sheamus and then the two work together to get Henry out of the ring.

Sheamus & Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton (C) & Christian

Christian and Sheamus start off the match with a lock up. Sheamus gets Christian in a headlock but after a few moments, Christian fights his way out. Then Christian gets a headlock locked in to Sheamus, following it up with a couple of hard slaps and a quick tip to the ropes for a back elbow on to the Celtic Warrior. Christian doesn’t get the pin fall on him and Sheamus takes control, dragging Christian to his corner to tag in Mark Henry. Henry delivers hard blow to Christian, lifts Captain Charisma up for a slam but Christian is too quick and jumps down to tag Orton in to the match. Christian holds Henry’s feet in place for a moment so Orton can get a few hits in before knocking the big man down. Orton jumps up for a high knee on to the World’s Strongest Man before attempting a pin fall. Henry kicks out and takes control of the match, lifting Orton and shoving him hard in to the corner. (I would like to point out that the announcer’s talking this entire time has been nothing but inconsequential drivel, especially the unnecessary and unwanted information about Cole being the captain of a cheer leading squad – sorry but their talking has been on my nerves the entire night). Henry tosses Orton over the ropes and tries to distract the referee long enough for Sheamus to get on him. Christian is right there however to keep Sheamus away.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Sheamus-OShaunessy.com. Even though I joined the site only a few months ago it’s been so much fun running this site. It’s had it’s bad moments throughout the year with server problems, Sabrina leaving and so much other stuff. But we still kept going. I hope everyone keeps visiting and enjoys it because we certainly do. Thank you for making Sheamus-OShaunessy.com a top source for your Sheamus needs. We also thank those who have donated to us, whether it was graphics or photos, we appreciate it. To celebrate our one year anniversary we have a new layout in the making, it’s going to be more professional than ever. We also have received a lot of photo donations over the past few months which we’ll add to the gallery soon. Expect a lot of things coming… here’s many more years to come!

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Sheamus takes on Daniel Bryan in the first match of the night. They lock up and Sheamus ends up getting Bryan in the corner. A back and forth between the two goes on in the corner, with each reversing and getting control for a few moments. Then they get into the middle of the ring and it continues, with quick reverses and counters from both men. Bryan connects with a drop kick, knocking Sheamus outside of the ring and gaining control of the match. Then he takes a flying leap onto Sheamus outside of the ring. Both men are down for a moment, giving Sheamus time to catch his breath and get back some control by a hard blow to Bryan’s chest. The two get back on the ring, with Sheamus inside of the ropes and Bryan directly outside. Sheamus runs Bryan into the steel ring post, then brings him into the center of the ring to slam him down onto the mat. Commercial hits with Sheamus in control.

The match returns with Sheamus holding Bryan in an arm lock. Bryan gets out of the lock and rushes to the corner, catching Sheamus with a blow when he comes after him. Sheamus then delivers a back-breaker to Bryan, before tying him up in the ropes and delivering hard blows to his back repeatedly. Then he knees Bryan in the face to untie him from the ropes. Sheamus knocks down Bryan again and attempts a pin fall, but Bryan kicks out. Sheamus takes Bryan up to the top rope to set up for a hard takedown, but Bryan gives a headbutt to the “Celtic Warrior” to get him off before delivering a missile drop kick from the top rope. Bryan gets up just in time to start kicking Sheamus before he gets back up. Bryan catches Sheamus in the LaBell lock to counter Pale Justice but Sheamus gets to the rope. When Bryan lets go of the hold, Sheamus drops down outside of the ring to get some distance. Bryan rushes after him but Sheamus catches him mid-air with a Brogue Kick. Then Sheamus enters the ring and delivers another Brogue Kick for good measure, earning him the three count win.

Winner – Sheamus
